OT, we don't have any Meijers out here, but I LOVE to go there when I go back East!
On-topic, it's great that the books are there, though I want to see Kirsten. And I always thought the AG books were expensive. All my Kirsten books were $5.95 and they're first-edition, so they must've cost that in 1986. I know they're on nice paper, but regular paperbacks were about $4 back then (maybe $3.50 if they were small). Factor in inflation (never mind that I can't find it online at the moment ;P ), and the current price for the mysteries isn't out-of-whack from what should be expected. (I DO think books cost a ton of money, though; that's why I don't usually buy them. I don't think the authors get all that much money from the purchase price, either. )
